About

HealthyFreePress is an independent consumer-health news aggregator and original-reporting site focused on four pillars of everyday wellness:

  • Weight & Metabolism
  • Sleep & Fatigue
  • Stress, Anxiety & Mental Wellness
  • Gut Health

We surface the most relevant new reporting from established consumer-health publishers, plus monthly long-form roundups written and edited by us. The aim is one trustworthy stop for what’s new across those four areas — without the noise of broad, unfocused health sites.

Editor

Gary Edgington — Editor and Publisher

Gary built HealthyFreePress as a focused alternative to broad health-news portals. He selects the source publications the site draws from, sets editorial standards, and reviews every original long-form post before publication.

What we do

  • Curate. We monitor 25 vetted consumer-health sources (major wellness publishers and topic-specific Google News searches) and surface the most relevant new items several times an hour.
  • Headline rewriting. We rewrite headlines for clarity and consistency. Outbound links always point to the original publisher, which gets full credit for the underlying reporting.
  • Original monthly roundups. Once a month, we publish four ~700-word original long-form posts — one per pillar — synthesizing the previous month’s developments and linking to the underlying primary sources.

What we do not do

  • We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. See our Medical Disclaimer.
  • We do not accept payment for placement. Our Editorial Policy explains how items are selected.
  • We do not publish content under fabricated bylines. Original posts are written and edited by the named editor above.

Site model and transparency

HealthyFreePress is transparent about how the site is built: we use automated tools (including a large-language-model API) to assist with headline rewriting and to draft the monthly roundups. Every original post is reviewed by the editor before it is published. Full details are in our Editorial Policy.

Corrections

If you spot an error, please tell us. We respond to every report and document corrections on the original post. See our Corrections Policy.
